A key aspect of delivering quality to our customers is the tooling condition. The mold is the customer's asset that we use to produce parts to their specifications. Proper care and maintenance are critical to ensuring the ongoing quality of that product and that is why we have an in-house tool room.

The Plastic Components' tool room's main focus is production support. We do all of our new tool builds on the outside of their preferred third-party vendors, both locally in Southeastern Wisconsin, as well as internationally.

But when it comes to maintaining your asset day in, day out, that's what our tool room is about. We focus on full disassembly, inspection, re-lubing, and preparation for the next production run at the intervals that are set based on the material and part design of that tool.

Every tool is individual and independent however we know, based on our past experience, when those cycles hit at what levels is the appropriate maintenance intervals and that's when they'll come in, be tore down, inspected, reviewed, set up, and be prepared for our next production run.
