Summary

Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Auditor is responsible for checking part quality through the measurement and visual verification of production as detailed in the quality plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary at any time.

  1. Collect a full shot of parts from each press; examine each part for standard molding defects per SWI-10-03.
  2. Conduct dimensional Audits per Quality Plan in the beginning of the shift.
  3. Issue Non Conforming Reports on production parts as required.
  4. Continuous roving floor audits to include the audit of each complete box at the press.
  5. Supply production boxes to each press; number production boxes and check and stamp every box per Visual Reference Sheets
  6. Monitor red bin quantities and enter scrap in IQMS.
  7. Verify that newly started jobs meet the requirements of the Process Quality Plan.
  8. Collect, audit, and tag the End of Run retain samples.
  9. May assist in the sort of dispositioned nonconforming product.
  10. Complete all record keeping and forms as required.
  11. Communicate with company employees in a positive, team-oriented manner.
  12. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping and standards.
