Process Technician – Sign On Bonus!

Summary

Under the direction of the Molding Manager and Shift team Leader, the Process Technician is responsible for assuring that injection molding machines are set up and running to quality standards and meeting production and scrap goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary at any time.

1. Perform removal and set up of molds, secondary and auxiliary equipment per set up documentation.
2. Ensure injection molding machines, and supporting equipment are set to and running within the parameters listed on the set up instructions.
3. Maintain and update set up sheets and process logs to reflect changes to actual running parameters.
4. Answer alarms and performing trouble shooting activities to ensure acceptable product is made.
5. Assure scrap issues are addressed and corrected in a timely manner.
6. Communicate with company employees in a positive, team-oriented manner.
7. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping and standards.
